Game → Chain

Earn HBUCKS by playing. Type /export-hbucks in the game and the bridge mints them to your wallet on Base. No fees, no waiting.

Chain → Game

Send HBUCKS or NFT items back into the game any time. The bridge burns them on-chain and credits your character instantly.

👑

Real Ownership

Items minted as NFTs are yours forever. Trade them on OpenSea, send them to a friend, or import them back to keep playing.

HBUCKS Flow

HBUCKS is the in-game currency, also a real ERC-20 token on Base. Move it freely between the game and your wallet.

1

Link Your Character

Inside the game, type /wallet 0xYourAddress in chat. This permanently links your character to your Base wallet so the bridge knows where to send your tokens. You only do this once per character.

2

Export HBUCKS to Blockchain

In game chat, type /export-hbucks 1000 (or any amount). The bridge mints HBUCKS directly to your wallet on Base. No fees, instant. They'll show up in MetaMask under your token list.

3

Approve the Bridge (one-time)

To bring HBUCKS back into the game, the bridge needs permission to burn your tokens. This is a standard ERC-20 approve — one transaction, costs a few cents in gas, only needed once. You stay in full custody: the bridge can only burn, it cannot transfer your tokens to itself.

4

Import HBUCKS Back to Game

After approving, type /import-hbucks 1000 in game chat. The bridge burns your on-chain HBUCKS and instantly credits your character. No fees, instant.

Item NFT Flow

Turn any in-game item into a real NFT on Base. Trade it on OpenSea, hold it, or import it back when you want to use it.

1

Pick an Item In-Game

Type /mint-nft in game chat to see a numbered list of all your unequipped items. Then type /mint-nft 3 (or whatever number) to select one. The item is removed from your inventory and a pending mint is created on the bridge.

2

Pay $5 ETH on This Page

Your pending mint will appear below. Click Pay & Mint to send roughly $5 in ETH and mint the NFT to your wallet. The fee covers contract storage, the in-game item check, and ongoing infrastructure. Once paid, the NFT shows up on BaseScan and OpenSea with all the item's attributes.

3

Approve NFT Bridge (one-time)

To bring NFTs back into the game, the bridge needs permission to burn them. This is a one-time setApprovalForAll — covers all current and future NFTs in this collection. Only burn permission, never transfer.

4

Import NFT Back to Game

Type /import-nft in game chat. The server fetches all NFTs you own from your wallet and shows a numbered list. Type /import-nft 1 to pick one. The bridge burns the NFT on-chain and instantly recreates the item in your inventory with its original attributes (durability, color, specs — everything).

Your Pending NFT Mints

Items you selected with /mint-nft in-game appear here, waiting for you to pay $5 ETH and finalize the mint.

FAQ

Common questions about the bridge, fees, and security.

Is my wallet safe?
Yes. The bridge never holds your private key and can never move your tokens to itself. Approving the bridge only grants burn permission: it can destroy tokens you own (which is required to import them back to the game), but it cannot transfer them to any other wallet. You stay in full self-custody at all times.
What does Approve cost?
A few cents in ETH gas on Base. Approving HBUCKS and approving NFTs are two separate transactions, each one is a one-time cost. After that, you can import as many times as you want with no further approvals.
Why does minting an NFT cost $5?
The $5 fee covers on-chain storage of the NFT and its full metadata (name, attributes, durability), the in-game item validation, and the cost of running the bridge infrastructure. The fee is paid in ETH directly to the project treasury when you click Pay & Mint.
What if I lose my NFT or sell it on OpenSea?
Whoever owns the NFT can import it into the game. NFTs are fully transferable and tradeable like any other Base NFT. If you sell yours, the new owner can use /import-nft to bring the item into their character.
Why Base?
Base is Coinbase's Layer 2 on Ethereum. It has the security of Ethereum with much lower fees (typically pennies instead of dollars), fast finality, and a healthy ecosystem of marketplaces and tools. It's the right balance of cheap, secure, and reachable.
Can I trade NFTs on OpenSea?
Yes. The collection is a standard ERC-721 with ERC-2981 royalties. It will appear on OpenSea, BaseScan, Zora, and any other Base-compatible marketplace. Each item shows its full in-game attributes as on-chain metadata.
How do I link my character to a wallet?
In game chat, type /wallet 0xYourAddress. This permanently links the character you're currently logged in as to that wallet. You can verify with /wallet-status. Each character can be linked to one wallet.
Why don't I see HBUCKS in MetaMask automatically?
Some Base RPCs don't auto-detect tokens. Add HBUCKS manually with: contract address 0x4778…c3cDD, symbol HBUCKS, decimals 18.
